Family Promise of Morris County is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness faced by Morris County families by partnering with other public and private agencies, religious congregations and community volunteers to provide shelter, case management and mentoring services leading to self-sufficiency. Together we'll partner with this incredible organization for a day of Spring Cleaning! Sign up to assist in the cleaning and organizing of the kitchen and supply room. “Parent’s Night Out” is hosted once a month on Friday nights in Morris County & Union Counties, in which parents of children with special needs can drop off ALL their children (infant to 13-years-old) for 3-hours of free childcare.
Every child, including siblings, is paired with a personal “buddy,” who will attend to their every need throughout the event. Volunteers will support activities for the kids games, crafts, movies, music and a bounce house. It’s a time for parents to rest, rejuvenate, or run errands! Sign Up Today

Our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive treatment and housing for women who are seeking services for alcoholism, drug addiction, and co-occurring disorders. We strive to provide quality services that facilitate their responsible and successful recovery and re-entry into the community” Volunteers have the opportunity to spring clean at the women's house: raking leaves, pulling weeds, mulching and planting are a few of the outside activities to restore this beautiful space. Partnered with Christ Church of Rockaway. Abigail House is our Transitional Housing and Case Management Program for those affected by domestic violence. The property consists of 5 spacious and fully-furnished apartments and space for our social work staff to provide case management services for our families. Finding affordable housing in Morris County is just the first of many challenges homeless families face in becoming self-sufficient. Abigail House will allow us to provide safe, affordable and well-maintained apartments for our families in transition, making it possible for them to focus on education, employment, family stability, financial literacy and other critical milestones. Eric Johnson House is a transitional housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS. While the spotlight on the AIDS pandemic has faded over time, the demand for services in NJ has increased. To date, over 220 people have resided in the Eric Johnson House and over 5,000 people have benefited from the community-based, educational programs of parent organization, New Jersey AIDS Services. Liquid volunteers prepare and serve dinner at The Eric Johnson House on the first Saturday and last Sunday of the month. Dates to be released soon.
