WE’RE EXCITED THAT YOU’RE INTERESTED IN JOINING A GROUP!
Below, you’ll find answers to some frequently asked questions people have about joining a Small Group. Thanks for your interest and we look forward to going on an ALL CHURCH Groups Experience with you this Spring!
It’s a small group of people in a similar area of town or stage of life who meet regularly to pursue spiritual growth together. Groups at Liquid have 3 main ingredients that we call the ABCs:
- Apply The Bible
We take what we learn on Sundays and and apply it to our daily lives!
- Bear Burdens
We give and receive loving care and prayer for the trials of life
- Chance To Serve
We put our faith into action – joining arms to serve our neighbors-in-need
Whether you’re brand-new to Liquid or you’ve been coming for years, a Group is a great next step for anyone who wants to grow in relationship with God and others through healthy, meaningful relationships.
Yes! Groups are a great place to grow spiritually through relationships. They are safe places for you to ask the kinds of questions you may have about God and the church!
During our Liquid Church Spring Groups Series, all our Groups will participate in a special study for 5 weeks. We’ll even provide Group Guides for Group members to participate each week. You can purchase a a hard copy of your Group Guide for $5 in the lobby on Sunday, March 1st and March 8th at your Liquid Campus location.
This special Groups series is all about experiencing a fresh touch of God’s spirit! For 40 days, our entire church will seek a deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit through anointed worship, Spirit-filled preaching, and breakthrough prayer. We’re encouraging EVERYONE to join a Small Group & lock arms together on this powerful journey!
While each Group is unique, generally all Groups have some social time with snacks and conversation, followed by a time of study and prayer. Each meeting will last approximately 90 minutes.
During our 5-week Wind & Fire series, all our Groups will be meeting weekly at a regular day and time.
Groups meet in people’s homes or in public places like a Campus location, Starbucks, Panera, Barnes & Noble, etc.
Each individual Group is responsible for deciding how to handle childcare needs. Some options are:
- Have parents arrange for sitters on their own and attend the Group without children.
- Chip in together for a sitter who watches the kids in a different room while your Group meets.
- Group members take turns watching the kids each week.
