Big Win: A contract employee who ensures Liquid’s front-of-house live sound experience is executed with consistency and quality every Sunday.

The Audio Engineer serves under the Campus Worship Coordinator with dotted line management to the Worship Experience Pastor. In a contracted position, the schedule generally includes Sunday support with additional hourly opportunities based on needs at Liquid Church. (Rehearsals, Worship Nights, Additional Events)

Responsibilities

Sunday Front of House

• FOH Mixing - Running audio for Sunday services including Live worship, Live speakers, and video.
• Audio Systems Set Up - Mic placement, depending on the campus additional cable set up & troubleshooting may be necessary.
• Volunteer Training - When needed, train volunteer audio engineers to develop the skills to mix on Sundays.
• Required Weekends - Easter Weekend, Christmas Eve Services, Mother’s Day Weekend, Father’s Day Weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience- Previous “Front of House” experience at a Church is required.
• Knowledge- Clear understanding of Live sound consoles, signal flow, and Live sound mixing techniques.
• Abilities- Working in a collaborative environment and always creating excellence in the face of obstacles.
• Schedule- Available Sundays from setup to teardown with limited weekend call-outs or cancellations.
• Communication- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Relational Ability- A “people” person who works well with Staff and Volunteers of varying personality types.  
• Leadership- Ability to lead under pressure with an optimistic attitude.
