The Driver serves under the Facilities & Logistics Director on the Ground War Team.  A part time position, the schedule is generally Sunday for a total of 8 hours per week up to 15 with special events. Drive buses on established routes or to specific destinations on time. Follow your required schedule as closely as possible. Assist passengers with baggage This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Responsibilities

Sunday:

• Arrives at Liquid Church Mercer 8:45am
• Checks in with Campus Manager for logistical needs. 
• Does a visual inspection and complete safety checklist.
• Drives to points of interest for personal pick up and arrives back at church by 9:15 for first service then again at 10:15 for second service.
• Drops personal back at pick up locations after services. 
• Logs mileage in logbook and returns bus to parking location.
• Reinspect the bus and ensure it's fueled for the next week. 
• Available for special events that may occur during the week. 

General:

• Reports any maintenance issues or concerns with the Facilities and Logistics Director.
• Transport special items in support of special events when required (Baptisms, special guests, etc).

Qualifications:

• Spiritual Maturity - A person who regularly practices learning God's Word, allowing God to renew their mind, and being obedient to what they learn.
• Tech Savvy - Ability to learn new and changing technology with ease, proficiency in Google applications preferred
• Communication - Verbal and written communication skills
• Relational Ability - A “people” person who works well with staff and volunteers of varying personality types 
• Physically Able - Able to lift heavy loads from/to varying heights in varying conditions
• 25 years of age with valid NJ driver’s license with no points is preferred
