Parents’ Day Out is hosted once a year on Black Friday at our Morris County location, in which parents of children with special needs can drop off ALL their children (infant to 13-years-old) for 5-hours of free childcare.
Every child, including siblings, is paired with a personal “buddy,” who will attend to their every need throughout the event. Activities for the kids include Christmas themed games, crafts, movies, music and a bounce house. Volunteers have completed a background check process and a nurse is also available to handle any medical needs. It’s a time for parents to rest, rejuvenate, or run errands!
It’s our privilege to spend 1 special day with your children. We do require participants to be registered and attend one of our Liquid locations for a minimum of three Sundays before attending Parents’ Day Out. This enables our staff to get to know your child(ren) enough to care for them well in your absence.
