In musical worship, our goal is simple: To give God the glory and honor he so deserves by lifting up songs of truth, adoration, and surrender. The act of worship, however, is more than the songs we sing in church. Merriam Webster defines worship as "reverence offered a divine being or supernatural power also : an act of expressing such reverence."
True worship of our God is both an attitude AND an act. It’s a posture from which you take action to draw near to God. If you’re new to the whole God thing and not really sure where to start when it comes to worship, good news! The Bible actually gives us some pretty clear guidance on how to approach God in worship.
We believe that God’s presence is life-changing. That's why we want to help you draw near to Him in worship any day of the week - not just in church on Sundays! In this article, we compiled 10 Bible verses about how to worship. These Bible verses have been compiled throughout the Old and New Testament and include examples on how to worship God through prayer, song, praise, obedience, coming together in community with the Church and more. There are so many ways we can worship our Heavenly Father!
