Surviving the Holidays
Do you worry about going through the holidays after a divorce or separation? If so, we want to support you. We’re offering two special DivorceCare support groups this holiday season, called Surviving The Holidays. Each group is a one-time meeting, during which you will learn how to deal with all the emotions you’ll face during the holidays: What to do about traditions, tips for surviving social events, and how to discover hope for your future. We’re hosting these one-time groups on November 24th and December 8th, and both groups will meet in-person at Liquid’s Union County Mountainside campus.

Special Needs Parents' Group
Being a parent comes with many challenges, but being the parent of a child with special needs is life-changing. From the diagnosis of your child, to the day they are an adult who still has BIG needs, we know this is a lifelong journey. We want to support you on that journey, because it is a calling to be a parent of a child with special needs!
In this group we will discover what it means to weep, worship, wait, and hope in the Lord amidst parenting’s greatest challenges. This group will offer encouragement rooted in God's Word, to help us see through the lens of faith.
The group meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm. Group meetings are in-person at the Clean Water Cafe, located at our Parsippany Campus.

There is a guidebook for living, and, contrary to what many think, it is available to anyone, even to those enslaved by an addiction. God is not silent on this issue. His Word offers hope, and that hope is the basis for CCEF’s Crossroads: A Step-by-Step Guide Away from Addiction, by biblical counseling expert Edward T. Welch. Crossroads was designed as a small group for men and women struggling with an addiction and meets for 3-6 months.
You know how anxiety and fear feel… your stomach drops, your neck tightens, your whole body tenses. But do you know what to do when anxiety fills your days and troubles your nights? The good news is, you don’t have to deal with anxiety and worry on your own. At Liquid Church, our Anxiety Support Groups meet weekly for 8 weeks. Together, the group walks through the book, When I Am Afraid: A Step-by-Step Guide Away from Fear and Anxiety. We will also work through sets of meditations by biblical counseling expert Edward T. Welch.
The Calm Mom is a support group for mothers with children at any age and stage, who find themselves overwhelmed and overcome with the challenges of family life. In this group, you will discuss mental, physical, and spiritual strategies designed to help you ditch the daily upset, frustration, and accompanying mom guilt.
This 6-month group is for men seeking freedom from any addictive sexual behavior. Learn about God’s power to break habits and addictions so that you gain freedom and sexual purity. You will have support provided by others who can address struggles with shame and guilt.
Our Guiding Families support group offers a relationally honoring, biblically sound path forward to supporting relationships between families and friends of the LGBTQ+ community. In this support group, we’ll look at practical insights to honor God and radically love the LGBTQ+ people in your life. Learn how to build trust with loved ones, repair relationships, walk through special events and milestones together, how to build a support team for your family, and much more. Guiding Families Support Groups are for any parent, grandparent, or family member of someone who identifies at LGBTQ+.
Our Healing Racial Trauma Support Group is intended to provide a safe place of healing for people of color who have been impacted by systemic racism - both directly and indirectly. People of color are repeatedly reminded of the risks involved when they interact with police, experience rejection and insults as a result of the color of their skin, or are discriminated against in everyday life. The cumulative effect of these experiences seriously impacts mental and physical health. Psychologists have come to describe this impact as racial trauma. The goal of the Healing Racial Trauma Support Group is to create a safe place for sharing and for healing to take place.
