Tim and Colleen Lucas founded Liquid Church in 2007 with a small group of friends and a bold vision: to help thirsty people discover the life-giving message of Jesus. Since then, Liquid has grown into one of America’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Churches, with six campuses across New Jersey and a global online community. 

Each week, Liquid helps thousands of people experience God, deepen their faith, and serve the poor. Since the church began, more than 5,000 people have been baptized in Jesus’ Name.

Known for his dynamic preaching and passion for Bible literacy, Tim loves helping people understand Scripture and apply it to everyday life. Whether preaching at Liquid or speaking at leadership conferences, he brings God’s Word to life in a way that is clear, compelling, and deeply practical.

Tim also coaches pastors and church planters nationwide through the Lead Pastors Coaching Network. His latest book, Seven Churches of Revelation, takes readers on a visual journey through Turkey while unpacking Jesus’ message to believers living in the last days. Liquid’s innovative ministry has been featured on NPR, CNN, Fox News, The Today Show, and The New York Times.

Tim and Colleen are graduates of Wheaton College in Illinois and enjoy leading travelers on Bible tours of Israel, Greece, and Turkey. They live in northern New Jersey with their two adult children, where they enjoy lake life, hiking, and cheering for the Yankees.

Warren Bird is an award-winning writer and researcher and currently serves as vice president for research and equipping at the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA.org). His background includes pastoring and seminary teaching, and a 13-year run as research director at Leadership Network.

Warren has authored or co-authored 30 previous books including Hero Maker (Dave Ferguson as lead author), How to Break Growth Barriers (Carl George as lead author) and Unleashing the Word (Max McLean as lead author).

Warren is a graduate of Wheaton College (BA, MA), Alliance Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Fordham University (Ph.D.). He and his college sweetheart wife Michelle live in Metro New York City.
