How To Give:

How Can I Give To Liquid Church?

We have 3 ways to give at Liquid Church:

  • Online Giving: Visit us online at LiquidChurch.com/Give to give simply and securely in seconds!
  • Mobile Giving: You can also give via the Liquid Church App.
  • Use Our Envelope: You can pick up an Offering Envelope at our physical locations. Drop it in the mail - it’s postage prepaid!

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card, as well as ACH (bank account) gifts.

How Do I Give A One-Time Gift Online?

To submit a new one-time gift at LiquidChurch.com/Give:

  1. Select your Campus to get started.
  2. Enter the amount that you want to give.
  3. Under Gift Type, select Give one time.
  4. Complete all fields on the page and select Next.
  5. If you do not have a Pushpay account yet, you will be prompted to create one by verifying your mobile number and entering your name and email address.
    If you already have a Pushpay account, you will be prompted to verify your mobile number after confirming your recurring payment details and payment method.
  6. Enter payment method details and click Next.
  7. You will now be prompted to confirm your payment details.
How Do I Create A Recurring Gift Online?
  1. Log in to your account at Pushpay.com/Login
  2. From your Home screen, click add recurring gift or search for a new organization.
    Please Note: If you have not given to an organization through Pushpay before, you will need to search for Liquid Church first.
  3. When asked Repeat this gift? Switch to yes, set up recurring.
  4. When asked How often? Set preferences for frequency. Your first gift will be submitted on the date presented in “starts on.”
  5. Verify references and other related details, click Next.
  6. Confirm payment details, enter password, and click Save gift.
How Do I Create A Recurring Gift Through The PushPay App?
  1. Open the App > Enter passcode / use Touch ID and click Recurring.
  2. Click new, search for and select your organization, click Create.
  3. Enter amount and select payment method.
  4. Click How Often and set recurring payment frequency, go back to previous screen. Note that the first gift will be submitted on the date presented in “starts on.”
  5. Verify references and other related details, click Give/Save.
  6. Authorize payment with passcode or Touch ID.
Can I Mail A Gift To Liquid Church?

If you’d prefer to send your gift via regular mail, simply write a check, payable to “Liquid Church,” and mail it to our church office. Send gifts to:

How Do I Cancel A Recurring Gift?

A recurring schedule will enable you to set details like the gift amount and frequency of giving.Fortunately, when you start a recurring schedule you aren’t stuck with it. We understand there may be the need to modify, pause, or cancel your recurring gift.

To cancel a recurring payment schedule from the Pushpay app:

  1. Open the App > Enter passcode / use Touch ID and click recurring on the bottom navigation.
  2. Select the recurring payment you wish to cancel.
  3. Click cancel
  4. You should expect to see “Success – You have successfully cancelled this payment schedule. No future payment will occur.”

To cancel a recurring payment schedule from your dashboard:

  1. Login to your Pushpay account at Pushpay.com/Login.
  2. Click Edit under recurring payments on your dashboard, on the right hand side.
  3. Click cancel
  4. You should expect to see “Success – You have successfully cancelled this payment schedule. No future payment will occur.”
  5. You may now create a new schedule, if you wish.
Where Can I View All Of My Giving?

All of your giving history is managed in our new church database, called “My Liquid”, at My.LiquidChurch.com. If you previously had a Liquid Connect account, you will need to create new credentials for a My Liquid account. Login to your new account, where you can review your giving and create a personal giving statement at any time.

If you have a Google or Gmail account associated with your profile, you can log in by clicking on the orange button with the “G” and selecting the Google account in your profile. Otherwise, you can register for a user account by clicking on the “Register” button. Once you provide the requested information and click on the “Next” button, you will be able to access your account. If there is an existing profile associated with the email address you provide, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your identity and you will be connected to your existing profile.

If you forgot your username or password for your My Liquid account, you can click on the “Forgot Account” button and provide your email address to have account reset instructions emailed to you.

How Can I Update My Address Or Email In My Giving Profile?

You will need to change your profile in both our giving platforms, Pushpay and our new church database, My Liquid. Simply log in using your previous email address and edit your account. You will find your profile at the top right of the webpage in both systems.

Every January Liquid Church will mail your yearly giving statement. We encourage you to keep your address up to date. 

Giving Stock Or Crypto:

How Do I Give Stock Or Crypto?

To give stock or crypto to Liquid Church, you can do so safely and securely through our partners at Overflow. Overflow is a digital solution for donating non-cash assets, enabling donors to give in a tax-efficient way. Now, you can experience the ease of giving to Liquid Church via stock or crypto in less than five minutes from your mobile device. Overflow also provides donors access to a private Donor Portal, which enables visibility into transaction history, transaction statuses, and the ability to update connected financial accounts.

Is Giving Stock Or Crypto Safe & Secure?

Giving stock or crypto is safe and secure. Overflow’s Information Security Program follows the criteria set forth by the SOC 2 Framework, a widely respected information security auditing procedure. Overflow does not have access to nor stores any brokerage account usernames or passwords.

What Is The Tax Benefit Of Donating Appreciated Stock?

Donating appreciated stock that you’ve held for over a year could allow you to potentially save up to 20% in capital gains taxes and potentially up to 37% in federal income taxes on the charitable donation value of your gift, based on your tax bracket when itemizing deductions. To understand the full tax benefits of giving appreciated stock, including potential state tax savings, please consult with your tax professional for information about your personal tax implications.

What Kind of Stock Could I Donate?

You can give any publicly traded stock through Overflow. By donating assets that have appreciated in value for more than one year, you are more likely to maximize the potential tax benefits. 

Overflow can also process 401Ks and IRAs. However, because donors often incur penalties for withdrawing these assets before a certain date, we highly recommend consulting with your tax professional before donating 401Ks or IRAs.

Can I Give Company Stock Outside Of The Trading Window?

If you received company-distributed stock as an employee and the trading window is not open, your brokerage will likely reject the transfer request. We highly advise that you ask your company for the trading windows and give during those time periods, which typically are open quarterly for three to four weeks at a time.

Can I Donate From My Brokerage Account?

Overflow currently supports over 10 brokerages via its self-guided platform, including brokers such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and E*Trade. If Overflow doesn’t have a direct connection to your brokerage account, your gift can still be fulfilled through its off-platform concierge service. If you are in Overflow’s donor experience and your brokerage account is not one of the 10+ currently supported with a direct connection, please reach out to Finance@LiquidChurch.com.

I Forgot My Password For PushPay. What Should I Do?

Visit Pushpay online at www.Pushpay.com or via the Pushpay app then request a password reset. Next to the “Login” button simply click on “No Password? Forgot?” and you will be redirected to create a new password.

I Forgot My Password For My Liquid Account. What Should I Do?

If you forgot your username or password for your My Liquid account, you can go to My.LiquidChurch.com, click on the Forgot Account button and provide your email address to have account reset instructions emailed to you.

Can You Explain The Difference Between PushPay And My Liquid?

My Liquid is our church database. It houses information related to your church activity - such as Groups, Dream Teams and Giving. All of your giving history is maintained in the Financial section of your church profile. This giving includes online and text gifts, gifts mailed to the Church, and offerings you place in the popcorn bucket. If you log in to My Liquid, you can see the total of all your giving. You may download a giving statement at any time. 

Pushpay is our online giving platform. All online gifts are managed here. If you set up repeating gifts you will need to login at Pushpay to edit or change any of those gifts. You cannot manage them in your My Liquid profile.
