The calling of Liquid Church is clean water – we’re just crazy enough to believe that we can solve the global clean water crisis in our lifetime! Are you ready to get dirty for clean water? Clean Water Trips for 2020 are now open! Applications will be accepted through Sunday, November 11th.
You can help us drill wells and change the future of an entire village with your support. We strategically design clean water trips so that people of all abilities can have a global impact.
- Beginner: These include water trips to accessible countries like El Salvador. We make an effort to schedule these around school breaks and work holidays so people can more easily take a week away to serve in the field.
- Intermediate: These trips depart for more remote villages in Central America and volunteers need to be in good physical shape. Includes trips to Nicaragua and Guatemala.
- Advanced: Trips to Rwanda are for experienced volunteers who have already been on a clean water trip. The travel to Central East Africa is strenuous and several hours each day are spent traversing mountain terrain in trucks. Working in the field requires both strength and stamina.
Our Clean Water Partners – Living Water International
There’s physical work involved when you join a clean water team, but the rewards of serving as the hands and feet of Jesus are priceless! Our work overseas is in partnership with Living Water International (LWI) and you’ll be working with them on the ground during your trip.
Recognizing that the physical and spiritual are always intertwined, LWI’s goal is to bring thirsty people both water (clean water that saves bodies) and the Word (living water that saves souls). LWI has been helping communities gain first-time access to safe water for more than 25 years. Watch the video below to catch their heart – and ours – for clean water!
